Thanks, Debra. We just had a few days in the 90s but last night a big thunderstorm and temps have cooled a bit. I always admire the blooms that take a lickin' and keep on tickin'. I used to fuss with some of my plants, but don't have time for that these days. Thumbs up

They are Echinacea tennesseensis - Tennessee Coneflower.

Surely of the morning glory family, but don't recognize the type, there are many and it is hard to see the which leaves belong to that vine. Maybe Tee will recognize them since she lives in you state.

Good ID. There is a vine of these covering and growing the entire height of a telephone pole just around the corner from me.
