I got this orchid last summer. Cypripedium x Andrewsii had been doing well this spring until the slugs had begun munching on its leaves. I moved it to a pot this last week for protection from the slugs and to be in a place with a little more sun.

I need to know the best way to care for it, and it's blooming time. Has anyone attempted growing those with success?

Bletilla striata are naturalized in several beds around my yard so I had hoped the Cypripedium would not be too complicated.

I just googled it and there is quite some information about it. Now the only person here (that I know of ) growing Cyp hybrids is Kathy/ @boojum.
I myself don't want to guess, since my experience is limited to oberserving Cyp acaules in nature.
Slugs are certainly a problem, I probably would have tried to eliminate the Slugs around the plants as they were in the ground.

I buy them from my neighbor and here are his culture notes. BTW, the extended period of below 0 weather this winter in Z4 did a bunch of mine in. Only one bloomed.
