Eucomis and dahlias are blooming here. The decrease in watering did not affect my flowers. It is my veggies that looked water stressed

Don't know anything about the grass, but love the Digiplexus! I got one and put it in a pot. Probably won't be perennial here but I couldn't pass it up.

I think the digi will be perennial there...it's just amazing, deer resistant, gopher resistant, tough, drought tolerant and just keeps blooming! What more could one ask?

Not Real drought tolerant in a pot, but still worth it because it's so pretty. I hope it becomes popular so I can find replacements down the line. I may put a couple in the ground next year if they can still be found. Being a hybrid, I don't think seeds would work.

The hydrangeas are doing really well everywhere. I've seen some really huge ones. I think I recently said that I would never plant agapanthus here, then this a.m. I saw it intperplanted with hydrangeas...wow....

I plant the asclepias curassavica somewhere out of the way and don't count on it being 'pretty' (aphids)...just grow it for the monarchs.

I just let those aphids enjoy the milkweed too..so they will not bother the other plants Hilarious! We do not get a lot of monarch's around, more of the swallowtail and also for my hummingbirds..they enjoy it too Smiling Then I get mean and hose down those aphids or spray alcohol mixture on them. And I noticed, the aphids do not like my geraniums beside the mikweed woohoo! More protection!

It doesn't sound familiar. It could have been one of those package dealies and I didn't bother with names or maybe a mislabeled co-op order. Shrug! It's not something that I would think I would buy as I don't normally get pinks of anything.
