I found these at Target the other day. 50%off Thumbs up Planted them with Hostas the next day. What do you think? The big one was $19, the tall one $15, and the low one $10.

I really like them Paul. I agree with Julia, anything could be planted in them with the colors of the containers.
Really like the hostas in them. Beautiful and healthy looking plants.

Great planters.

The soil would look better if a mulch of choice and possibly Sphagnum Moss under the rocks.

The last tall one likely should be set on a solid paver of choice.

Beautiful pots at a great price indeed. Thumbs up

David......I'm pleased that you like the containers. I like to be able to see and feel the potting mix to determine how moist it is. I'm not crazy for sphagunum moss. My preference for a top dressing is gravel but it makes it hard to stick my finger into the soil. I think I have a paver. Good suggestion. I'm tempted to go back for more containers.....need some self control

You are welcome and Thank You.

Some sort of light mulch is always a good thing in pots to avoid soil splashage when watering.

You know your finger can get through light mulch to test the soil and I know you know how it will benefit waterings.

Real sphagnum and not Peat Moss type Spaghnum is what I use in many of my containers and of course our plethora of Spanish Moss growing all in the trees around here which is a living plant too.

Utah is so different from here. It's so humidity dry.

They have Spaghnum Moss in the natural form at "Dollar Trees" for a buck a bag. Its usually used for crafting and in the crafting area. Ty it. You won't know till you do. I tip my hat to you.
