So far this year there have been a few standout performers for me.

1. Tartano- a very deep raspberry purple which doesn't fade and great looking all over. (Leaves, inflorescence)




2. Pink Heaven - a tetra LO that has large flowers that are truly pink and beautiful even in the heat. Slight fade in real hot weather but still pink.








What's everyone else's suprise/top performers for 2014?

My surprise is how tall my pink perfections got here. I got a batch my first fall here (2012) they are all nice deep pinks and this year some are over 6 feet! Almost just like home, wish I could say that for more of my plants - but at least the lilies do well here! Some of the OT's are very tall too but not open yet. My Fragrant and lovely Champagne is quite tall and beautiful too, but no pink flush in this awful climate! The orientals are doing well also but I haven't been able to find all that many.

Rumor has it that Easter Moon was the big winner at the NALS convention today!

I heard that as well Lorn! Mine was a first year plant this year. Only one bloom but it was nice.

I am in Eastern WA, and it has been so hot my stigmas are wilting every day. I have cooked oriental buds (and I thought they were shaded enough!
I will have to collect umbrellas from garage sales for use until my shade grows, that may not happen in my lifetime. Currently I am using sunflowers.
This is a good test for the OT's, The blooms do not last as long in this heat, but they are not fried!

For depth of color - Yellow Green. In DB listed as Yellowgreen.

Side note -- a large percentage of my varieties seemed shorter than usual and there was some loss of former lily mainstays (winter was excessive in severity, scope, and duration).

Impressive! Where did you get Yellow Green?

This particular L. regale album continues to impress me. It has a nice inflorescence of about 20 flowers on well placed pedicels that form a perfect circle about 18 to 20 inches in diameter. Flowers are larger than the average regale album as well. Historically, this plant has always put on a good show.

Your L. regale album is impressive. Sounds symmetrical.

Couple of others from Lisa that performed well were Dream Queen and, of coarse, Awesome.



Kentucky had a quite high bud count.
