The latter.... I have it but will not cut mine until the tree is quite a bit bigger. Check with me in a couple of years Smiling

You could pay the outrageous prices at Exotic Plumeria, of course.

By the way, this variety is known as 'Toba's Fire'. Embers is the Exotic Plumeria name. They have a habit of renaming existing cultivars.

What's the rational in renaming existing cultivars, Hetty? Isn't that some sort of deceptive advertising or something?

Exactly my point.
Example: say I have a plumeria called 'Embers' - and this is what it looked like the last time it bloomed.:

Now a vendor is offering a Plumeria called 'Toba's Fire' and posts this picture:

Clearly it is similar but I happen to love that color combination so obviously I have to have it ..... only to find out later they are one and the same.

Exotic Plumeria will never get another red cent out of me!

I clearly see the deception, Hetty. And pictures are of little use. Lighting, age of the flower, and software manipulation can create all kinds of colors and contrasts of the exact same flower.

Great info Hetty! Also the heat of the sun or lack thereof makes sa huge difference. Here's a sample of my J23:

1st week of July intense heat no rain for a few days more

After a few days of rain, this is what it looked like yesterday morning.
