I'm resisting ordering any more irises this year - so many yet to come - but I keep seeing so many here
that I want. I'm already thinking about my 2015 list.
Here's a few:
Sultry Mood
Applause Line
Mulled Wine
etc.

What's on your wish list?

Most of my ordering is done by whim... but I have an extensive wish list..
There are a lot of historics that I should have because they are classics (Dogrose, Helen Collingwood, Elmohr, Elsinor, Miss California, Jungle Shadows, Mady Cariere, Mohrning Haze, Mulberry Rose, Paragon, Rhages, Truly Yours, etc etc...)..
There are the ones that I should get to see if they match my NOID's (Cloud Baron, Champagne Taste, Blonde Bombshell, Dutch Master, Gypsy Lullaby, Art Form, Blue Suede Shoes, Blue Anew, Shipshape...and more I can't remember)
Ah, and then the ones that I had in the past and left behind (with the Bishops Weed)..Joyce Terry, Bride's Halo, Street Walker, Magharee, etc..
And then the new ones... I'll have to get back to you on those...

I have scribbles everywhere. I need to start an alphabetical notebook. Ha! You got me to compile the scribbles on envelopes and to-do lists. I cut and pasted this to my email so I can add when I want. I can bring the list with me to auctions and sales. Yay!

Linnea, I have a couple that are on your list - Alpine Lake, Clarence, Lumalite and I am supposed to be getting Tinkerbell this summer. I have depleted the stock of these a bit for this year but will have increases next year. I will be glad to send you a start of each. Thanx for starting this thread Jan. smiles

One that is definitely on my wish list is Peking Dancer, which Tom said will be very hard to find. So hopefully, some day I will have something he wants that I can trade to him for a rhizome of Dancer.... if only he had waited for Coal Seams.... (this is truly emphasizing the WISH part of wish list as you can see!).

Others include Elizabethan Age, Dr. Moody, that cute little black dwarf that was on this forum (and that I need to write down the name of!!!), Vapor and a bunch of Japanese iris that I will pick up after seeing how well the ones I ordered this year do in my yard.

I have already been blessed with many of my wish list items from when Greg brought me down some rhizomes on his way to his parents house earlier this summer! Smiling Smiling

That would be great! I think I should buy Fairy. It was scribbled repeatedly as one to "buy".

I got a lot of new ones this year, so it will be a while before they multiply. My old ones are Honorabile, Fabian, I. pallida and a dwarf I think is Manhattan Blue. I bought one to compare with later.

The new plants are

Argentea (I. pallida with variegated foliage)
Being Busy
Blueberry Tart
Bright hour (we think)
Candy Apple
Cat's Eye
Chanted
Cheers
Cherry Tart
Cottage Maid (Barr's)
Double Your Fun
Dusky Challanger
Edith Wolford
Florentina
I. Germanica
Gudrun
Indian Chief
Jewel Baby
Kiss Me Quick
Lent A. Williams
Little Dream
Loreley
Mary Geddes
Gypsy Queen
Rhein Nixe
Royal Eyelash
Skating Party
Snugglebug
Wabash (we think)
I probably forgot something.

The NoIDs: Rhizomes from the banking that have never bloomed since I moved here in 1997; rhizomes beginning to rot near the porch lattice that had one bloom similar to Fabian, but not; some probably Sir Michael Foster rhizomes similar to Caterina from looking at the eBay picture; some yellow, purple and Gypsy Queen looking rhizomes from a trade with a gal; the yellow, purple and bi-color purple irises we got off Craigslist - all 1000 of them. I also have some rhizomes I forgot to label, so they get planted in their own group. Sometimes I can tell what they are by their characteristics. The blue dwarfs have rhizomes that look like cat poo. Leslie, I'd trade a Peking Dancer for another coal seams. Then I'd have two of them. Then my Peking Dancer will be thinned enough for the year. I also have Peking Summer some where, but it hasn't bloomed in a while. Think it's being crowded out by my tiger lily.

Feeling so lucky that I got some of Tom's Peking Dancer. Fingers crossed that the dancer will like California!

Yay Greg! Love those two.

Tom: I will check out the Coal Seams when I get home. It may be next year before I have decent increases to send. But if you can wait, then put a flag on Dancer for me.

Linnea -- I have Clarence that needs thinning right now. A small flat-rate box would run six bucks. Tree-mail if interested.

Bonnie -- I can take care of Alien Mist for you next year, and probably Tango Amigo this year. LMK!!

Rob, your list is so civilized.... I have several on your list.. Bewilderbeast (probably), Competitive Edge, Conjuration, Edith Wolford, Mallory Kay, San Francisco.. and a few others, I'd have to check on increases.

Tom and Dave, I would love to take you up on your kind offers. You both will have to post your wish listsso I can see if I have anything to offer you guys..

Linnea, my list is easily as long as yours... I was a little shy about posting the *whole* thing hahahaha
