Thanks Tee! I just got lucky! It's so tall that I couldn't get a picture, until it decided to bow its head down to look back at me. Hilarious!

This has quickly become a favorite plant for me. This is the first time I've grown it, and I've been amazed at how tall and beautiful it is!

I agree. Those Mammoth Russian sunflowers are gorgeous, IMHO. Smiling

Not knowing what to expect, I only planted two seeds. Next year, I'll plant oodles of them! Can't you just picture a huge field full of them? Lovey dubby

Now to figure out when I should collect the seeds! This is the first time ever that I've grown sunflowers, and I can't believe I waited so long!

You will see when the seeds are ready to collect. They will literally fall out of the flower head. That is, if the birds don't beat you to them all. nodding
