I just found these tiny little beadlike things on the back of a tomato leaf. You can see how small they are, and the front of the leaf doesn't look damaged. Does anyone know what they are? If they are harmful, what can be done? I can't spray anything outside because I live on an organic farm ( but that's another post...).

Thank you.

I cannot tell by the pictures but are the eggs solid gold-colored throughout or are they more transparent with something dark inside making the eggs look golden? I ask because, although the tomato fruitworm egg is kind of whitish when first laid, it can appear more golden close to hatch time. Here is a photo of what I am trying to describe: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG...
On this page, they describe how the egg develops a reddish brownish look: http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG...

I think the eggshell is gold, but it was hard to tell. The eggs stuck firmly to the leaf and when I pulled got one loose, it was very hard and it bounced away like a tiddlywink. I finally crushed some between two paper towels and what I got was a brown smear (very small) and a few tiny bits of shell. Any ideas?
