when i have a multi-plant photo, do i just upload it as a regular photo and then add plant tags to it and make into multi-photo?
or is there a special place to upload/create multi-plant photos?
so far i just added all my photos to the database. is the multi-mechanism the same for intra-post vs database photos?
i searched for info, but can't seem to locate it.
skylark.

Hi.......I'm not the best at explaining things but if you look at the multi-plant pictures you will see on the bottom left of the group that it says "add a picture. Hit on it......select a picture and follow the instructions. If I can do it most anyone can. I'll be watching for your contributions.

when i go into goodies/multi-photos, i see 'add an image' button, but that only gives me 'upload the image' - so that means i have to do a new image only? guess, i'll have to try to see where it'll take me.
i already uploaded one into database and wanted to tag it, but don't know how.
oh...i love your photos! i am sure you noticed, as i unleashed a thumb-flood on you the other day http://garden.org/i/s/biggrin....

Go to the Multi-Plant photos link in the "Goodies" and click on "add an image." Then you can go in and put tags on the individual plants in your photo. Sometimes it can be a bit tricky, especially if you're a fumble-fingers like me! Hilarious! It will give you the option to draw a little box around the plants in your picture and add a description. It's generally easier to open a separate tab in your browser and find your plant in the database; then you can copy the plant ID number (it will be in the blue column on the left) and just paste that into the description, instead of trying to type the name correctly. Heh, at least I *think* that works. Haven't done it in a while. Smiling

yeh, i did it!
so, the multi's are all by themselves? can they be added to a post somehow?
interesting that i cut and pasted my own name from the file, but it was changed to conform to the database name. and it connected each tag to the appropriate database record automatically - neat!
but, one of my plants was not in the database - the main biggest one! so i had to go and submit a proposal. i prolly will have to delete the tag and recreate it once the new entry is processed?
i'm getting there..slow like a snail, but it's pretty easy actually.
