This banner is of a daylily seedling I bought several years ago from a professional grower. I'm sure with all the seedlings out there, plus the thousands of named varieties available, this one is likely insignificant. Daylilies are so versatile that a gardener has only to use a little imagination to organize any difficult spot where some other plants might not fit. They add so much to the home landscape, and are truly a gardener's friend for versatility. This one has become a dependable favorite in my little corner of the world.

Thanks Margaret, I remember walking through fields of seedlings in 90* degree heat when I found this one some years ago. (I think it was 1996) The color combination is what appealed to me. This picture is in shade so the colors are a little off.
