Hooray for autumn! I love how my semps color up so differently in autumn than they do in spring - less vibrant I guess but still very dynamic and exciting!
Here are a few pics from this week
Belladonna and Red Lion (not looking very red currently, but pretty!)

Then a NOID from @valleylynn - no chicks so I'm sure its going to bloom out, but so far its just getting bigger and bigger

haha wrong - these are all from my "other planting place" Thumbs up okay, funny story (to me) regarding the man who owns the property who is loaning me space for my semps...Red Lion is sortof tannish, reddish with a bit of green, well when I took this photo he happened to come outside and we were looking at the plants and he points to Red Lion and says - "wow I love that one - that is one of my favorite colors!" (I just smiled and nodded) you see he's color blind in the browns, olives and reds - so I'm not even sure what color he sees this semp but whatever it is he loves it! You're lucky the guy loved the color (whatever color he saw) as opposed to the guy hating the color (whatever color he saw)...
Wow, Faramir and Fire Dragon...quite a contrast in color and mood... Blinking

I know - Fire dragon is funky! It was in the shade, so I'm thinking that made it look a little bit bluer in the photo - but only a little - it really is in this cold phase right now! Also - its a gallon pot. I planted them in there in June and they just took off! So that's exciting too! And Faramir is sortof doing its spriral thing - which I love!! Don't know if its captured in the photo??
I tip my hat to you.

As I said in the other thread. Think you must have something in PNW water to get such brilliant colors.

I see the spiraling in Faramir. Is that a phase it goes through or does it always have that form?

Hi Donald.
I think as a rule that is a trait that comes and goes. I'm not sure what causes them to take on that form at different times.

Donald, I'm sure it is more pronounced when certain coloration is happening. And also if its like other plants that have this spiral effect, they have to have obtained a certain number of leaves before it happens! The other one I notice this with is Koko Flanel! Lovey dubby
