Thread OP

I have/maybe had an Asiatic lily which had about three inch down facing flowers on pediciles in a belltower shape about six foot tall that allowed the wind to move them. It was my favorite...but may have been an insect hybrid in my garden. Idk. Now that it is fall...I moved the bulb. Alas!!! I accidentally cut the top third off the bulb, but the basal plate is intact. I planted it, but am afraid of the damage. It was among my favs. Is anyone her aware of such a lily available from some source?

sorry no one has responded to your post. ive cut lily bulbs on accident before. they seem to be ok. I have noticed the cut ones will still grow a decent size stalk and produce flowers, but not as big or vigorous as the others.
