This growing season is coming to an end for me for this year. Adeniums are
flushing out all sorts of blooms to finish a wonderful year.

I agree They're beautiful. I have 1 blooming in the house. I'll have to get a picture. Another has a seed pod. I wonder if it will continue growing through the winter. Nights are too cold here to keep them outdoors.

I just brought mine indoors a week ago and have discovered my big plant has three pods and a smaller one has two, not sure if they will make it.

I have slowly limited the water on my Adenium as I was going to let it rest and go dormant for the winter. It is a few years old and the leaves have started to turn yellow which I believe will fall off. I discovered a pink bloom on it and told my coworker "looks like I am going to be a mommy, I have a baby flower". The question is, do I continue to slow down the water to the point of no more for the winter or water it until I see the last bloom fall off?.
Thanks.

Are there more buds, or only the one flower? I would continue slowing down the water. These plants are at least 80% water, so it should be OK

Very sweet. I like when they have the contrast between the throat and petals

I am so happy that the plant finally had flowers. I imagine that the lack of water made it shoot its last bit of energy for the year. It was supposed to be going into a dormant state and what a surprise. Now after the last flower it can go to sleep, drop its leaves and rest for the winter. Will stop watering in the next week or two.

Isn't it wonderful how the flowers grow and get larger the longer they are open. Lovely blooms!

What the issue with acorns? The page shows the green 'thumbs up' and page still shows
Give acorns?
How would I know that I was not to give them? Seems odd.
Just a queary.

Thanks Hetty,
As long as there are acorns and thumbs showing at the bottom of the page, it will be an ongoing issue.
No 'colors' or whatever show any different to me?
Possibly there should be a better explanation so others do not offend?

Just seems odd that one would be greeted with such revil.

It's an issue with Melissa since she lives on an island and they have to haul in internet by boat.
