WOW you have a large collection. The Cactus will probably last and you know the Semperverium will do good.

I still have all mine outside because we are still in the 40s at night. When we get to the low 30s I will have to breakdown and bring in the tender stuff.

the san pedro survived last winter, boy was i surprised. It is more fun , in my humble opinion , to set them up to survive without plastic. and i am constantly surprised at just how well they seem to do. I know the semps will do fine, thats why i dont really care about them, same with the pricklys. Now if the little echVerias and graptos can survive that would be something. Some of the plants survive but dont seeem to regrow the following spring.

I could not believe the red cactus survived in my garden for a couple of years but I had good mild winters.

I have to hide some echeverias during winter..but some likes being outdoors in winters..sometimes like spin a win I find graptoverias can tolerate our mild winters very well.

Tarev are your temps close to San Francisco? I saw a lot of sucs that lasted their winters. My business trips took me there Jan-March.

Nope...we are more inland.

san fran has tree jades , blew my mind when we roadtrip'd down that way the first time. Although i do remember hearing about some hard freeze a few years ago killed a bunch ,

Bay Area temps are at times 5 to 10 degrees cooler than our place. The marine influence there helps regulate temperatures so it is really fantastic for succulents.

During winter our area gets the valley inversion, so we get colder, but by summer time we get much hotter.

That is a lovely photo of a jade succulent Mark! Love it! Jades do nicely on my side too. Survives very well our mild winters.

My Jade plant had not bloomed when I was traveling so the first time I saw a jade flower was in San Francisco.

I only got to see blooms from my jade one time..winter of 2011, and just on what branch. So far it has not repeated it. But it started the buds in Nov 2010, late fall that time.

My Jade bloomed for the first time last winter. I have no idea what I did. It bloomed from Dec-Jan.
