I am not taking anymore orders this year (March 20th 2015)

(Posted in October)
I have recently finished wrapping and storing over 400 Dahlia tubers.

I will only have room to plant a little over 100, so I am interested in selling or possibly trading.

Since shipping will not happen until spring - right now I am just looking to set up possibilities. So please let me know if you would like me to ear-mark anything for you.

Available dahlias are listed on my plant list http://garden.org/lists/view/m...
Quite a few are now marked NA, meaning that I have already promised all of the extras that I have.

Sales will be for $2.50 each - with a minimum order of 6 - shipping will be at cost.

Thank You!

I'm very new to dahlias -- just started with 2 this summer -- and I've fallen in love! They bloom non stop, right up until frost. I can't wait for spring! Hurray!

Just wondering how the dahlias tubers are doing for you. I hope they all do well so that you have enough to fill the orders. I am so looking forward to getting them this spring. Can I ask you what is the name of the variety of the dahlia pictured for your user profile?

Hi Karen - I just came in 2 minutes ago, from unwrapping my tubers - getting ready to wake them up for spring. I lost a few to rot, but only 10 or so out of close to 400, so I am feeling good about it - when I look at your list - the only one that I might be shy on is Apricot Brandy, as I lost about 3 of those - some are just more difficult to store than others.

I am going to give them all some warmth and moisture for a few days to get them to eye up before I start shipping them off.

I'll tree-mail everyone to get addresses etc.

(The dahlia in my profile pic is Mingus Gregory. )

I just went through all of my tubers this morning and almost 1/2 have eyed up and are ready to go. I expect to begin shipping them off (weather permitting) by the end of next week.

I lost a few in winter storage, but I think I should be able to fill almost everyones requests - Thanks!!
