I know he is.. its amazing how well he is doing .

I hope he continues to offer this seed and do what he does.

Althouh I think the magizines in his name deal with too much politics on GMOs I think its for a good cause and he only wants to do right in this troubled world of ours.

I got Cream of crop squash and a couple of bean and pea varities plus four types of sweet peppers good for growing in zone 4., I got cream of sastaskiwan watermelons and some herbs for free from him/jere. if anybuddy on here wants extra seed of the tomatos /beans/ peas/ herbs ( calantro) or squash or watermelon PM me. I plan on planting 255 milk cartens one for each seed and growing them at roots hydro organics local store. the employee there told me his boss okays it and i'll give some of the crop to him/the store some to people i know/MSS/ (I'm disabled.) and my comunity garden plot in white bear.

My boyfriend got me some seeds from this year's Baker Creek catalog. I'm very excited for spring so I can grow them!

We recently received our Baker Creek catalog, and I have made an order already in preparation for Spring. One of our friends also directed us to a company that she uses, and which I am pleased with as well; Pinetree seeds.......www.superseeds.com

On occasion I will also use the seedsavers.org website. But now that I have an abundance of seeds, it is a joy to grow them and collect the seeds from them, and in turn, grow from those seeds.

Baker's magazine is always a joy to journey through, because of the excellent photography. I always, when shopping for seed, use several sites at one; Baker gives me realistic pictures of the item, while often, Pinetree gives me the best price for the amount of seed. Baker often carries varieties that are not yet found on the other sites. I often Google information on various plants to learn what I can about interesting species.

Although I have a number of seeds ready for Spring, there always seems to be 'more' that I want to plant. After all, there are so very many varieties of plants in the world, we are always 'discovering' more each year!

All of the seeds I've gotten from Baker Creek this year have sprouted the best. I'm new at gardening. The Martha Stewart seeds haven't done well at all. Burpee has been better. But when I started planting Baker Creek (even for the same plant, i.e.radishes) the difference was amazing. I'm sold.
I just got some new and interesting ones: Radicchio Rossa, Swiss Chard/Perpetual spinach, Ornamental Fringed Kale, Oriental Greens Extra Dwart Pak Choy, Oriental greens Shanghai Green Choy.

I've also ordered a three pack of figs - and the little plants will be shipped between April and June. Can't wait to get them planted !

Last year they offered free shipping on all orders on Earth Day. Not sure if they will do that again this year.
Plantsmylove, did you buy a catalog? They have a free one they send out that is really nice. They also have a catalog you buy. I have never bought one of those.
The photos in the free catalog are nice.
I also went to the festival one year in Mansfield and it was nice. I wouldn't drive a long ways for it, but it was worth the trip if you live in the area. I haven't ate at their restaurant.

I have been enjoying looking at Baker'sCreek 2016 catalog. Since I already have a full trough of seeds to plant, I've refrained from buying anything new, so far!!

Pinetree is a new one for me, will have to check them out on-line. Smiling

Be sure to keep Pinetree in mind in late Fall. Like many others, they have great sales - ~ 1 $ per pack.
