Do you know if they are the species P.tenuifolia? I have some purchased from Spring Hill close to ten years ago which do not set seed pods with seeds. My one species type from a prominent nursery set seeds the second year. Either one is a good addition to anyone's garden. I also have a species double and a some heirloom doubles from about 50 years ago. They are just beginning to break bud and form leaves.

This may have been posted previously but here it is for 2014. A good reference point for unusual peonies. http://www.hiddenspringsflower...

I have ordered from them several times and they are nice people to deal with and they are one of the few places to buy species type peonies.

Seedsower said:I will have some Fernleaf Peonies to sell probably sometime in April. I haven't come up with pricing yet, I first wanted to see if there would be any interest. Most nurseries sell a tuber with one flower stem for $25-$35. I would be cheaper of course!

I would be interested also, if you are repeating the offer this year. I see that the original post was 2013.

Hello Everyone

Thank you for your interest in the peonies. We are 10-15 degrees below normal and I don't anticipate seeing them pop up any time soon. Last year I was quite generous and divided the clump(s) heavily.

I'm not sure what my other clumps will look like this year after such a cold harsh winter, but I will keep everyone one in mind. I don't check/post on the forums much so please be sure to Tree Mail me in a few weeks to check on my plants progress and availability.

Thank you!

I would take a few more if you sell that at the same price as last year. Keep me in mind.Looking forward to having a mass planting of them.

I would definitely be interested in buying. Let me know how much, where to send, and when? Thanks.

I'm afraid some unforseen circumstances have come up and I'm not going to be able to divide up my peonies this year.

My sincere apologies, if something should change I will start a new thread.

Thank you for your understanding!

Seedsower:

There is interest here with Amber Rose! I really like the red ones, but am also interested in pink. Do you have any left? How can we make a transaction?

Hi Amber

I was not able to get my act together this year to sell some of these, too late of a spring and too much on my plate. I don't know how to close the thread, but check back with me next spring.

Thank you!
