Hi, got this cactus off Craigslist...it has 7 ribs and 10 spines with one long spine in the cluster.
It's about 3 feet tall. Also, any idea what this white patch is?

Looks like Stenocereus gummosus.

Looks like the white thing is like a healed injury it sustained before, possibly from cold damage.
