I tried this once and hit the wrong button and lost all my work so here I go again.

I am gradually going to post pictures of my flowers that I had growing last year in 2014. I do not know most of their names but love every one of them. If you see something that is named wrong, please let me know. I hope you enjoy what you see.

I guess I knew most of the names of these flowers. Next time I may not be so lucky. Let me know if I got any of them wrong or if you know their whole name.

Gorgeous flowers! I'll take a crack at a couple. You got most of them right though!

Third photo almost looks like a Calendula not a coreopsis.

I am not familiar with #4, what you called Butterfly plant.

#7 looks like maybe Helianthus of some sort? Someone?

Pretty sure #10 is Osteospermum

Yes, the two plants do look differently. The front one has very narrow petals but the foliage looks pretty much the same.

Hi, Jeanne. Thank you for posting the photographs, I like them. Smiling

If those petals are fluted-tubular, think the third photograph down might be Coreopsis Jethro Tull:

Thank You! to all of you. The 3rd one down could be Calendula or it could be what Debra said Tickseed Coreopsis Jethro Tull. I know that I have bought both of them. Boy, does Calendula reseed. I collected as many seeds as I could. I think you are right, Arlene, about the Osteospermum. I am going to buy more of that one for sure. It got so big and was beautiful.

Thank You! Julia and Debra. I think you are right about #7 being False Sunflower with the variegated leaves. I love this plant. It gives me a lot of new plants that I transplant to other flower beds. I can also see that the others in the picture could be Rudbeckia and even Tickseed. I am going to have to get better at marking my plants when I plant them.

Thanks Vic about telling about posting my pictures to the data base. I will do that soon. Can I post them if I do not know their name?

you will get an answer pretty quickly. Thumbs up

Thanks, Vic. I did post one plant there before. I will do that with some others that I am unsure of their name.

Here are some of my Day Lilies and possibly an Asiatic Lily. And you guessed it, I do not know their names. Most of them were given to me.

Think the second from last is a Salvia of some kind, but not sure.

Last one is a Scabiosa, I think.

I planted Lupines this year and again tried Delphiniums, but the heat baked them. So I will just enjoy the pictures of yours.
