I am getting my first Greenhouse. We will be moving it or starting to this weekend. I am super excited. The guy I am purchasing from was generous enough to give me 100s of flower pots also. Bring it on Spring:)

Hey again, Chelle. Did you get the Plumeria from the same guy? You'll sure need and appreciate having that greenhouse when you have hundreds of tropical plants! Whistling Check out my website and you'll see what I use my greenhouses for. Thumbs up

Holy cow, Chelle. That is a huge greenhouse. Your one will be larger than all mine put together. Forget about 100 tropical plants. That sucker will easily hold 1000 and then have plenty of room for you to have a party in. Hurray! I am seriously jealous! Lovey dubby

I could fit my house and all my gardens under that... and save a ton of $$ on heating costs! (I've always fantasized living in a greenhouse.)

I'll add my welcome also! I envy everything about your new GH, Michelle, except your winter heating bill! Sounds like you'll have lots of room to spread out your plants. Possibly, a GH pond in there too!

Did it come with a commercial heating system? I've always wondered how much energy is used to heat one of that size.

Gerry, I've always fantasized about living in a greenhouse too! Seems like the perfect home. I agree

Ah, IF I do the sunroom this spring, I will be able to bring the "greenhouse-feel" into my home. That space would be 36'x20' and would have central AC and heat.

That would be awesome Ken. Just think...you could fill up the greenhouses AND the sunroom!! We will be seriously (as opposed to "just looking") for a new house this spring. A sunroom is high on our want list too.

I love my MIL's little sunroom in Seattle. It faces south and is always so warm even on a gloomy day.
