Whenever we get the chance, we visit our favorite pottery container store outlet in Sunol, CA. Here I can find my choice of different containers, glazed or not, various sizes and designs and prices are okay. They also have some plants on sale, and I always love finding good specimen sizes of tropicals here and some succulents. The only thing, the plants are not labeled accurately, so I just research later on what they are if I can.

This is the only place so far, nearer to our area, that I can get a good selection of bonsai containers, love that they have it, saves me from shipping costs.

I think that they are cement or some similar material. I will take more pictures of containers next time I go to Cactus and Tropicals both at the Draper store and the one in Salt Lake City.....Here are a few planted containers......

This is the website of my favorite pottery store: http://www.plantandpotteryoutl...
Unfortunately they do not ship, but it will give you all fair idea of how big the area is and the sale prices hard to resist.

Paul that orange/red is so striking, and I love the plants they used in them. I also love the container made of wood.

Oh my, good thing I don't live by either one of those places tarev and Paul.

I was bored and suffering from an intense case of cabin fever yesterday so I went to two of my favorite nurseries, Cactus and Tropicals. I took a number of pictures of containers. It will take a patient person to look at all of these......this first group is at the Draper, Utah store.

Paul, you got me with the first photo. I have fallen in love with the cement pottery, and that big one that kind of has a faux wood look speaks to me.
I can picture it aging with moss. Lovey dubby

@Paul2032 -- I'm envious of that store - what a variety. I used to be able to pick up some fairly decent size porcelain pots at Old Time Pottery, reasonably priced, and my husband would drill the drainage holes for me. I went in the store last week and the selection wasn't great and they definitely are more expensive.
