Very nice haul, Ursula. I ran these through OrchidWiz just to see if anything interesting would come up. Here is what I found:

Den. linawianum - Old species, registered in 1861, pretty flower
Tct. Niu Girl (Tblm. kotoense x Crtn. fesselii) - Really cool light orange bloom. I've never tried to grow one.
Sophronitis [S.] coccinea - now just called a Cattleya. Brilliant orange flower, very plain but pretty. I couldn't find anything about the '4N'
Oeceoclades [Oecl.] spathulifera - Great flower here, gold metallic with an interesting lip. One of those 'knock your socks off' blooms
Lc Sakura Sky x C. Horace - has a name now: C. Dainty Pink (C. Sakura Sky x C. Horace) Note the Sakura Sky change
Pleurothallis palliolata - Cute little gold flowers growing right on the leaf. Another nice species
Tolumnia Genting Yellow - I can't find it. There is a Tolu. Genting Angel, Genting Fairy and a Genting Rainbow but no Yellow. Not yet registered??
Asctm Mona Church - is now V. Mona Church (V. miniata x V. ampullacea). Pretty light pink flower with some yellow on the lip.
Cne. Green Light - is now V. Green Light (V. vietnamica x V. falcata). I couldn't find a flower photo.
Renanetia Sunrise - is now Rntda. Sunrise (V. falcata x Ren. imschootiana). Another bright orange flower, beautifully shaped. Love it!
This one took some work. First of all, Paph. ang-thong is now Paph. godefroyae. Part two is that (Paph. godefroyae x Paph. niveum) now has a name:
Paph. Greyi. So now I look for (Paph. Greyi X Paph. niveum) and, as luck would have it, I found Paph. Mystic Isle. So, your new orchid is called: Paphiopedilum [Paph.] Mystic Isle (Paph. Greyi x Paph. niveum). It has a pretty pink flower with dark purple spots.

All in all, nice haul, Ursula!

The 4N refers to the Polyploidy. 4N is Tetraploid, which means the blooms are usually bigger. These types of plants are usually more expensive.

I took a ride down to Silva Orchids, temperatures were above the freezing mark and we had beautiful sunshine. We are supposed to have a real mess of snow and sleet tomorrow, so today was a great day for looking at and transporting Orchids. The Open House is ongoing to Sunday!
A couple of pics, but then I got busy looking and chatting.

And here is the list, I love the plants I picked. Since my beautiful Ang sesquipedale kicked the bucket last Winter after many years of enjoyment, I replaced the plant today. Also, this is your fault, Elaine!! Smiling

Silva Orchids Open House Jan 23. 2015
Dialelia Mizoguchi 'Princess Kiko', mounted and in spike
Angraecum sesquipedale, might be blooming size
Monn. Millenium Magic 'Witchcraft' AM/AOS, dormant
Laelia anceps x, we had a discussion about it, I managed to get a plant and promptly forgot to ask for a tag.
C. walkeriana, mounted, with the fattest pseudobulbs I have ever seen.
Dendrobium tetragonum, mounted and in bloom.
You can see my plant above/ the last two pics.

Delighted to take the blame, Ursula. Green Grin! I see you went for one of those 'Witchcraft' black orchids, too. Can't wait to see how it blooms for you.

Love the Den tetragonum, I would have guessed it was a Brassia from those long pointy petals.

I just had to try to get one of those 'Witchcraft' to bloom!!! Smiling
Isn't the Den tetragonum neat??
Btw the huge dark plant with the 1000 spikes is their Laelia anceps!!! It is late this year, usually it is in bloom now.

The Dialelia Mizoguchi 'Princess Kiko' is now called Cll. Mizoguchi (Cll. Snowflake x L. anceps). I see Fred Clarke of Sunset Valley Orchids won a nice award with his version of this plant. Is your flower white?

I love Angraecum sesquipedale but I think mine might have died too.

The Monnierara [Monn.] Millenium Magic is really cool. The flowers are almost black.

The C. walkeriana is a classic. You can't go wrong with it.

Very nice Dendrobium tetragonum. I just love the flower. I wonder if I can grow it?

Nice haul, Ursula. Congratulations!

Thanks, Jim!
The Dendrobium tetragonum is cool to hot growing, seasonal I guess. I would give it a shot!
The Cll Mizoguchi should open soon, I will post it.Thanks for the name.
I have to learn when to water the Moonierara and when to withhold water. I am excited about that one!

And some pictures from the Silva stuff yesterday
the reason I picked up the C. walkeriana - the pbulbs were really fat and good looking, very promising. (The greenhouse is iglooed today, so light conditions are not great for taking pictures, but I think it was sufficient to show the plants.)

Nice hauls!

I couldn't help but pick up a few orchids at the St. Louis orchid show last weekend.

Prosthechea vitellina x2 plants (these are so rare that I bought both that he had left). Both have bloom sheaths.
Dendrobium peguanum - awesome little plant and this one has GREAT color. Usually they are bland colored. This one has a lot of deep purple.

Dendrobium amethystoglossum - in bud with a lot of spikes.
Thumb of 2015-02-06/shadytrake/087d53

Rlc Kozo Scarlett - I'm a sucker for reds and even though fading, the form on the flower is quality.
Thumb of 2015-02-06/shadytrake/fbabbb

Epicattleya Rene Marques 'Flame Thrower' HCC/AOS - this is an excellent clone that has the potential for an AM. I'm growing it for a specimen.

Barkeria whartoniana - this was a present for hubby. They are challenging to grow so I thought he could use one.
Thumb of 2015-02-06/shadytrake/62c921 Thumb of 2015-02-06/shadytrake/e5fe1d

Dendrobium trantuanii - I have had such a hard time growing this one. The vendor had a large 3 growth plant in bud so I couldn't resist.
Rhyncattleanthe Sylvia Wagner - Excellent small red mini-catt BS.
Rhyncattleanthe (Rlc Memoria Ralph Placentia 'Toreador' AM x Rth Elaine Taylor 'Krull Smith' FCC) - Superb small red mini-Catt BS.

All excellent plants that have award potential. I'm so excited!

Wow, you had your buying shoes spit-polished!! Beautiful stuff, Melissa.
I would really like to see a progress report every so often on that little Den peguanum, seeing it in bloom like that is spectacular!! Lovey dubby
And, I don't think I ever saw a Barkeria I didn't like, nice one too!
