Thread OP

This thread is just to find out if enough people would be interested in having a hosta co-op. Please post here if you'd be interested in participating in a group purchase of hosta liners.

There would be about 20 hosta liner varieties priced at around $3.00 for 2.

You do not have to buy 20, however shipping is $ 10.00 regardless of the size of the order.

The first 3 varieties are sold out, so do not let them all get away.

Shipping has been delayed due to the long and cold winter until the week of May 5th. We want to make sure that they are well rooted and we can see they are true to name.

I'm interested. Do we order on our own??

But I have a question. I have only grown Hosta 'Guacamole' as they are suited for Zone 9a heat and come back each year, for the most part. In our yard, we have good shade, but it can get to 90ºF in the summer shade, not to mention the humidity. Will most Hosta's handle the tropical heat in my zone?

I'll probably get smacked for buying more hosta, but Count Me In! (I've been smacked so many times for buying plants, I think I'm immune!)
