Sawara Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Gold Spangle')

well this gets much larger than the tag says, although I am assuming it grows rather slowly and takes years to reach the mature size. So my question is, if I plant this in full sun will the foliage burn? I have had trouble with that with some of my other lime colored plants in full sun.
