I tried to look up my 'Garden Tour' and could not find it..... any hints?

I took the hard way and went to the Ideas and Articles page and typed "garden tour dutchlady" and Hetty's tour came up as the first item.

I guess I got lucky, not knowing if Hetty wrote this or instead it was an interview perhaps written by Trish. If it is something one wrote, then the profile page would be a good start. However, if you are one of those really prolific writers, prepare for doing some scrolling.

I always thought it was unfortunate to not have the actual gardener as the author of those garden tours.

It does make them a bit of a challenge to find at times!

Can't that be remedied now, Trish? As I recall, many of them came from the Garden Tours Forum of the Clematis Cubit and were composed by the garden owners. You and Sharon added some introductory and final paragraphs when they were published here, but the main text was not heavily edited. It always bothered me that photos imported to the database from those threads would have listed a non-owner's name (the article author's) as the photo owner.

It can indeed by remedied. We can change the author on an article by article basis.

I do recall being mildly peeved that I provided all the photos and text for mine, but the article came out under Sharon's name, but that was before Dave made it easy for just anyone to submit an article . (Had it been anyone other than dear Sharon, I might have been annoyed in truth. )

Those articles were definitely the first step in redoing our articles/tips, woofie!
It's it funny how one just keeps doing what one has always done, and suddenly wakes up and say "why on earth are we doing it this way?!?!?!"

I don't know if we have these articles tagged somehow but if you want to give me a list of them (or point me to the list) I'll see about updating them all. Shouldn't be that hard.

The only way I know to find them all would be to look under Sharon's profile.

Sounds like a job for Trish! I'm pretty sure mine was one of the earlier ones, but I could be wrong. I seem to recall that it was Trish who approached me to help create a garden tour.
