Would anyone have experience with this perennial. Looking for some hardy long lasting perennials that can basically deal with what mother nature can dish out.

Prunella is a fairly hardy plant.
It is the bedding plant version of the herb called Self Heal.
It should be good in zone 5 .

Thanks Caroline, Would you happen to know if this might be a little on the overly aggressive side. There are several different places I could put this plant.

Patty, I grew this from seed one year. Planted it out but it never did well for me but just as I planted the small plants it got very hot. I had a hard time watering. I was afraid of that very thing after doing some research.

Thank you Julia, I guess I'll get the prunella. I'll be sure to report back if it threatens to take over.
Does make me wonder thou, found only praises for this plant on searches. If it's such a great plant why don't more people grow Prunella Freelander Blue?

I thought that same thing. Think there is another thread about this posted by me years ago.

Thanks for posting the thread Julia. If nothing else I'll pot it up.
Thats also good to know Caroline. Got it half price from Bluestone so I thought it was a good time to experiment.
