Did anyone lose plants last night? It got down to 35 here at my house ... I had flowers covered, but it looks like I still may have lost a couple of begonias. Angry

I haven't found any damage here either, as the wind stayed up just a bit until this morning. Even my mango tree did not lose many of its flowers so we may still have mangoes this summer Hurray! Hurray!

Not sure yet, everything looks ok for now but frost damage of my plants usually shows after a few days.

I'm way northeast of y'all and Thursday night dropped to 34º here but I didn't lose any plants. I never even covered my one and only Plumeria and I left Hoya and Rhipsalis plants hanging in the trees ... everything fared the cold just fine thank goodness! Hurray! I just hope that was it for cold weather this year. Green Grin!

I had 28f and frost on the roof, but not on the ground, so that's good. All kinds of plants think it is spring right now, so the large azaleas, pink tabs, and even some if the peach trees are flowering right now. Most of the flowers weren't damaged, so the duration must have been very short. Besides, many times in my location, when it is only around 28 degrees, the temperature can be 3 or 4 degrees higher at 6 feet above the ground than it is a foot above the ground. When it got 15f about 4 years ago, the temperature was only 0.2 degrees different at the same difference in height.
Anyway, most everything around here did fine, but I am lucky I have greenhouses to put my more tender plants in.

39Fwhen I got up yesterday. Spread some more frost cloths around the evening before. Today I took them down and folded them to put away. Supposed to be 80F tomorrow ! We're all in a state of confusion; do I grow, stay dormant, or play dead (that the plants' point of view). Me -- when it's really cold like that I just want to hibernate. We're supposed to be living in sunny Florida for goodness sake ! Confused

It looks like I have no visible frost damage yet and we are supposed to be in the mid 70s today.

I think we hit 30°
saw a lil but if "burn" on the Bougainvillaea.

I corralled all my tiny seedlings against the house [southern exp] and covered with a sheet.

It did not get as cold as it was supposed to.... let's keep it that way.

It was 35 degrees here. The hibiscus is losing it's leaves but nothing else was impacted.
