Sue, this photo of Sedum polytrichoides 'Chocolate Ball' is amazing. I have to ask, how long have you been growing this plant? And how do you grow it? Full sun, filtered sun, etc. And how much water?
I have not successfully grown this sedum, but would love to be successful at growing it.

Hi Lynn
It's not actually my plant. I saw these in a garden centre. I always photograph things that take my interest.

I would imagine it likes conditions for other ground cover sedums. It will grow in well drained soil in zones 4 - 9 and requires modest watering except maybe in summer. It has yellow flowers but I think it would look good planted against a light background or companion as it's a dark leaved plant.

Good luck with it!
Sue

I have tried 3 different years to grow this. I have many other sedum that grow easily for me. I don't know that I will try it again.
