Thread OP

Hi all,
I am a newbie in this forum and this is my first thread here. So I am not sure whether it is the right place for asking my question. But it will be appreciated if anyone share your suggestions. I have a new house in Ontario which is under construction. Almost 90% of the construction works are completed and now I am looking for some latest trends in outdoor living and gardening. One of my friend suggested natural swimming pools but I am not impressed with it because of old design concept. But I think it will be impressive if a made a luxury swimming pool with latest landscaping designs. So last week I got a quote from Solda pools who provides both swimming pool and landscape constructions. Now my question is that what type of plants I can use in decorating sides of my swimming pool? What are the best grass type that can be used to make shiny lawns and landscapes? Also please suggest some indoor plants for decorating bedrooms.

1. Snake Plant
2. Aloe Vera
3. Pothos
4. ZZ Plant

A natural swimming pool can be as old fashioned or modern as you like. True, most natural pools have the same basic concept design: a central deep swimming area surrounded by shallower gravel areas with plants to provide filtration.

I myself like the no-chemicals approach, but I'm also reluctant to make one for the same reasons you bring forth. However, why not have a modern swimming pool and totally seperate the filtration bed, perhaps a bit out of sight? All it takes is a little more plumbing to get the water flowing in between.
