Hydrangeas Peonies Celebrating Gardening: 2015 Plant Identifier Garden Ideas: Master Level
Cold Stream Farm is a wholesale/retail bare root tree and shrub nursery in Michigan. They have been in business for many years. I have ordered from them many times over the past 20 years or so. Always a happy customer.

And, always by mail. You can pick up your order, but they are in Free Soil, Michigan. I looked it up once, but I really can not tell you where it is. Bottom line, it's too far for me to drive:)

After a several year hiatus, I placed an order today. You can order 1 or 100+. I chose 25 each of the following (mostly shrubs):

Aronia arbutifolia, Myrica pensylvanica, Pinus nigra, Viburnum lentago, Viburnum nudum var. cassinoides , Viburnum opulus var. americanum

I have an area along the front road that is somewhat wet. Most of these will go there. Not the Austrian Black Pine. Those are for my girl friend.

Except for the pine, all these shrubs are "for the birds". Rolling my eyes.

It looks like they are between Muskeegon and Traverse City. A chunck of land surrounded by Manistee National Forest. Not far from Ludington

I'll have to add it to my list of places to check out. My mom and I will swoop by and scoop you up Rolling on the floor laughing
