I had some seeds collected in 2007. I got a couple to germinate. I was so excited to see the sprouts - the old seeds were not too viable and had to sow quite a few seeds to get seedlings!

First year Salvia nutans plants.

The leaves smell so nice and sage-y.

Looking good Joseph.

Here's the database link if anyone wants to see the beautiful flowers it has. I'm going to try and fill in all the details for this salvia. Nodding Sage (Salvia nutans)

Flowers By The Sea sells it, by the way. http://www.fbts.com/salvia-nut...

I have it growing indoors. It probably is not the right thing to do but it is worth the experiment to see if it flowers up in the spring without being winter dormant.

@Gerris2

Keep us up to date on your salvias, especially in the spring after being indoors in the winter.

The last pic you posted looks green and healthy.
