Hi there!
I am trying to figure out if two of my roses have suckers coming out at the base or if they are the actual rose. Lady of the Mist's sucker doesn't look anything like the growth pattern of the Rose, so this may be an easy ruling. As for my Honorine de Brobant (the potted rose), I'm not sure. Please reference the pictures. Your help is GREATLY appreciated!!! 😊😊😊

Matt, do you remember where you bought the roses? I've never seen a grafted Lady of the Mist, and I doubt that anyone takes the trouble to graft a bourbon rose (Honorine de Brabant). If they're own-root roses, they can't have suckers.

I bought them both from Heirloom Roses. So they are own root roses? If so, you've answered my question! Thank you! 😍😍😍

Yes, you can relax. Heirloom sells only own-root roses.
