JMorth, do you force your bulbs more than once? Or do you plant them in the ground after they bloom?

I was indisposed for about a week or so and missed moving some forcers from basement to upstairs for blooming on time. This, in turn caused a back up of forcers to be out of cold refrig period to cool light period...so things got bunched up...

Anyway, some more forcers -

Toto Another miniature (opens w/ yellow cylindrical cup that turns white), this one is a div 12 daffodil.

Snow Baby Yet another white miniature, this one's a div 1 (trumpet) dwarf.

Due to traffic jam under fluorescents in basement 20 forcer pots are now awaiting bud/bloom formation in cool temps under lights. When bloom starts, they get moved upstairs to be appreciated. All of these were formally refrigerated necessary length of time (actually more than necessary). Moving them out of refrig allowed me to take some pots that were doing their cold period in the outside covered stairwell to basement into the refrig while I await room at table under fluorescents.
Under the stairwell remain a few totes of late acquired daffodils (from Brent and Becky's end of season half price sale). These particular cultivars were listed in groups of 25 but included some pricey ones (now at half price) that I thought it prudent to obtain to be forced, (as ground was frozen), enjoyed up close in containers, then relocated to garden for subsequent years blooming.
When these are brought forth blooming they should be super cool as they were planted in relatively large pots, some up to 25 per pot. I checked them yesterday and they appear fine and could probably be put into placement for cool time under lights before bloom, but alas, there's presently no room.

Wow, JMorth, you've got a lot going on. I like your technique of buying at half price sales, forcing them and then relating to the garden for subsequent bloom. Forcing them allows you to enjoy then close up and brighten the home when the outdoor weather is not conducive. I need to adopt that method. Your blooms are beautiful. Thanks for sharing them with us. Thumbs up

This pretty tall and lankey daffodil's tag says Pink Charm. Pink yet to manifest...if not, won't enter it into daffodil db cultivar ranks. Took nice pics.

Pinks can vary a lot, and artificial lighting can effect the color, but it still doesn't quite look like Pink Charm to me. PC typically has a darker ring at the tip of the cup, which I think would still be visible on forced plants. The shape of the bloom looks different too, reminds me more of Chromacolor in form and the way its coloring. Where did you get the bulbs?

Also meant to ask you, where did you get Galactic Star? I really like that one!
