I may be dreaming, but I thought we had a discussion last year about this, but can't for the life of me find it... advance apologies if this is a 'rerun' - I have lots of those these days!

When adding a plant to My List, it would be nice to be able to add a personal comment at the initial 'add a plant' screen. I thought this got added either below the have/want option or at the very top, but I don't see it anywhere (and may be imagining this). I'm just now starting my spring buying/exchanging plant frenzy so if this is hidden somewhere, that would sure save me some time. I use the personal comment section to note where I site the plant, the year it was added, the source, and sometimes notes about care or use.

I don't think you're imagining it, Deb -- and I agree it would be nice to be able to put in a comment when you add the checkbox info, rather than having to go back to the plant list, find the entry, and edit it. (I use my notes pretty much the same way as you do.)

I would love too to be able to add a comment simultaneously when I add a plant to my list. Is it possible to add this feature @Dave ?

Thank you

Yes, that's what that section is for.

Is the "Notes" the little notebook icon in the main My List area? I was rather hoping we could access that from the 'Add to My List' to make the adding a plant feature a bit more efficient. What I find myself doing is opening the main database, locating my new plant, checking to see if my plant tag or research gleans any new info to add to the database, then clicking the 'Add to my list' button. At that point, I would sure love to be able to add a personal comment (where I planted it, source, etc.). As it is (unless I am missing something), I close out of that screen, open My List, locate the new plant, then add my comment. Then back to the main database to add in my next new plant (as anyone knows, it is impossible to buy just one...). Perhaps there is an easier way for me to do all of this?
