Karen, simply click on Upload an Image. Sometimes you may have to click this a couple of times before it brings up your picture files. Then simply select and click on done.
Hopefully you don't have the first generation of IPads, but one of the newer ones. I post nowaday's routinely from my IPad Air without problem.
