I could not say one is better than the other since one is just going on it's third year. Mine never have the blooms dry up. Just google honeysuckle vines to see some of the cultivars, then you can see what is hardy and the pictures will give you sample of what may appeal to you. @Newyorkrita has more honeysuckles she could tell which ones she likes.
