We went to check on the bulb fields up in the Skagit Valley earlier this week. The daffs are about done and the tulips are just starting to color up. Pretty early this year. Also ran across some snow geese and a young bald eagle.

Nice relaxing day. And, yes, @Springcolor, I did stop in at Christianson's but limited myself to two plants which I then dug in that day. Trying to maintain control this year!

Deb, that first shot is fantastic. I stopped up there last week when I picked up a part for DH. Forgot my camera but thought of you as I was parking the car at Christianson's. Love that nursery!

Oh how I envy you all your earlier spring, and proximity to actual fields of flowers. Crying Sad

Mary Stella, you just need to move down here. Tell that man of yours it's time. Hilarious!

No likely. Hilarious! Either that I would "tell" him or that he would move. He is convinced that we are too old to make that kind of move. But I can surely visit. Only problem is how many trips I would have to make in a year. Spring for peonies and iris, a little later for roses, fall for dahlias. And I would have to make time for both Oregon and Washington. But then why not? I don't go anywhere else. Shrug!
