If there are any experts around can you please help me identify this plant? It was purchased with no ID. I've been searching and the only thing close is Grapto Snow White. I may have to wait until it flowers.

It is very pruinose, almost pure white with a purple/pint tinge and very thick rounded leaves without an "edge" (a few came off in the shipping).

I would love to know what this is or at least narrow it down so I can care for it properly.

Thank you for any help! I have a couple of other ones too, a crested what looks like a pachyphytum and another little pink grapto/pachy. I can post the pics to this thread if anyone shows an interest to help identify.

I'm not an expert but It looks like a grapto to me...which one?...I don't know.

It is really hard to second guess...but it sure is very pretty! Maybe a Pachyveria.

I am just going to go with Pachyveria Superfatii (yes I just made that up) . In the cold weather the leaves are turning an amazing pinky mauve color. Just gorgeous. The leaves that detatched during shipment are starting to grow roots so fingers crossed I will have a few new ones come spring and maybe a flower to help ID.

It is most def a xpachy, not a xgrapto and will be treated as such. I have never seen a xgrapto with leaves this fat and rounded. I would bet it's a cross with a Pachyphytum Oviferum and a white type of Echeveria like a Lauii.

I just ordered a couple more succulent NOIDs because I am a masochist. Can't resist a good mystery. I'll keep you updated on this one!

My newest plant is a Pachy 'Powder Puff' and it's still in its' store pot, lookin' for a permanent home. It's a gorgeous pink color. I wonder if it's as hardy as Grapto 'Opalina?' I have some of that in an outside mini garden, always looking for candidates to add to that.

I find Pachyveria likes it much drier and more warmth; it is so easy to rot the stem of Pachyverias. This winter has been relatively drier, so I left it outdoors, but other winters I overwintered it indoors to protect the plant from too much cold and wet conditions.

Graptoverias, are actively growing during cooler season, getting that chilled reddish/orange look and can tolerate a bit more moisture during the cooler season, as long as media is really well draining.

But I have to define what I mean by cool conditions for our area here that succulents like, temps in the upper 60's to low 80's. Anything above that slows them down as it gets way too hot and dry for them. Our temps during summer sizzles very high and dry to the triple digits. At that point, the succulents naturally slows down to conserve its resources.

I love both graptosedum and pachyphytums and they definitely need different care.

@Purpleinop Tiffany tarev has some great advice. I know that the Pachys hate wet feet. I have planted them in my own mix, not the commercial stuff because it contains too much bark which Pachys hate. Graptos can take more water. It's gotten to the point now where I don't even bother to put them in the same pots when doing arrangements.

My pachy mix ( grapto I use more perlite less granite and no blue metal)
30-40% compost
30-40% coarse sharp decomposed granite
10% perlite
10% blue metal
10% river sand
Some slow release fertiliser granules.
