Anyone have these visitors to ponds, or eggs laid and have babies growing in your ponds?

Don't accrue too many toads as toad sperm can kill fish in large amounts. That is if you have fish in your ponds.

As several of us found out to our surprise and unhappiness. Not me though. Only tiny tree frogs that freeze over the winter can live here. lol

TONS of tadpoles show up in our little ponds. Leopard Toads, for sure. But often large toads as their pollywogs are huuuge! My Koi ate the pollywogs, but the goldfish leave them alone. The pond without fish have the most, of course.

I'm including natural ponds too that are present on property already.

I know by me some houses have streams that toads and spring peepers breed in.

Have any photos? Leopard frogs are harmless to fish, large tadpoles could be bullfrogs.

I'll have to search my photos, or take a new one. I saw some young ones out the other day. I'm sure we have bull frogs, too. I always hear them but rarely see them. And then of course, there is this one I have hanging in the trees. Rolling on the floor laughing

I see little tadpoles swimming around in my nearly pondless front yard bubbler ( enough open water to provide drrinking water for dogs and cats). We also have tons of frogs down at our farm pond - the full chorus usually begins in Feb or Mar and continues thru summer. I love it.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
