I have been looking for a sun visor of the kind that uses earpieces (like glasses?) to hold it on. They used to be everywhere! but now all I can find are the ones with an elastic band that goes around the head, which I do not want.

Does anyone know where I might find the earpiece kind?

Thank you for any tips or directions.

Kyla, those are the kind I like, too -- but I haven't bought any in several years; when I did, I'm pretty sure I found them at Walmart.

You can find them on Amazon, if you can't find any locally:

I wanted one and saw this one so ordered the brim is very large for great sun protection and you can also use it as a cap and the back is Velcro adjustable. Have to keep the sun off of my face. http://www.qvc.com/Physician-E...

Sandy, thanks, those are exactly what I failed to find everywhere! I guess I didn't know what to call them. I ordered two just now. Thumbs up

Betty, thank you also, but that is the kind I don't want, that goes all around the head. I really like the clip on kind! But I'm sure others reading this thread will prefer the around-the-head ones -- most people do it seems. And those are very attractive! I just hate how they feel! My weird quirk, is all. Kyla, I didn't know they were called "clip-on" visors, either -- makes me think of the sunglasses that fit over regular glasses! Whistling The other kind just won't stay on my head, which apparently is kind of flat in the back... and my hair is very straight and slippery! Hilarious!

Hi Vickie -- what part of Michigan are you in? I'm up here in the UP, on the southern border of it, thankfully! They're supposed to start putting up a Meijer store here in Escanaba this summer... right near the Walmart, which seems a little strange to me. Shrug!
