Sighing! I hope someone can offer advice to this technically challenged, old blonde.
I recently switched from using Safari as my browser to using Firefox or Chrome (but mostly I've been using Firefox.) I keep ATP as my home page and when I used Safari as my browser I was always logged in but since switching to FF I have to log in each time.

I think I remember someone asking this question awhile ago but I can't find the thread *Blush* and I'm hoping someone can tell me what to do with my laptop (MacBook Pro) so that I don't have to log in each time I come to ATP.

Any help will be truly appreciated,

Lin

The default is that it keeps you logged in all the time. The only way to logout is to clear your cookies. (In fact, the logout button at ATP does only that - it clears your ATP cookies.)

So it sounds like your browser is configured to automatically delete your cookies. You should be able to disable that somehow.

Blinking um ... ok. Thanks Dave. Confused I don't have a clue what all that means but hubby said he'd take a look when he gets back from walking the dog. He knows Macs from inside out so I'm sure he will be able to disable whatever it is that needs disabling.

Lin, for mine (with FF) I use these browser buttons:

Click "Tools" then "Options" then "Privacy". You can choose your cookie settings in the Privacy area. I'm not using Mac though, so I don't know if it's different for you.
