TY for the inputs! It looks like this plant is making seeds. I'm wondering how I would be able to tell when weeding, which sprouts would be BEG, or some other grass? As long as that's the only way it spreads, I don't mind pulling excess volunteer of plants that make seeds that I really like, but getting into one with unrecognizable sprouts isn't something I've done. But I guess if I can tell the diff between Tradescantia, Poa annua, Lycoris leaves & others that I deal with (as either wanted or not,) I'd probably learn to notice BEG sprouts too? Do you find that happens once you have & observe this in a tended spot? If it's not in a bed, I think it would get mowed too often to enjoy the little flowers. The plant I spotted looks like its' buds escaped the mower because the plant had been stepped on repeatedly, rendering it almost completely flat.
I'd love to see any pics folks would like to share of this plant "in action" in your yard/garden.
