I found Cat's Meow nepeta today googled them and saw pictures of them potted up in pots also in hanging baskets. Sure hope they look as good as the pictures.

Jason it is not a shrub it is a hardy plant I think it is a fairly new variety. I think I may try it potted up and then at the end of the season plant it in the garden. Thanks for responding. I tip my hat to you.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Nepetas given that my username is Catmint, and given that my felines all love catnip! Big Grin Hope you enjoy Cat's Meow! Thumbs up I have not heard of it either--you'll have to post some pics when it arrives!

I hope this particular cultivar of nepeta does not do what mine did. I've rarely dealt with such an invasive garden perennial. Just keep an eye on it! Sighing!

Which one did you have that was invasive?

I have some other varieties that are not overly invasive, if they expand beyond where they should be I just pull them up it seems to take care of it for a number of years. I plan on planting these in planters for the summer and put them in ground late in the season.
