I have a lovely Hoya that is a couple of feet long. We will be moving this summer to South Dakota from Florida, where the plant currently lives on our patio year round (shaded). Should I give her an "haircut" before we move? Will she do ok as an indoor plant in SD?

Welcome! we2west. I think she will be fine as an indoor plant, make sure to mist regularly.

Lots of people grow these indoors up north. As Hetty said, humidity is key! I wouldn't bother trimming it, unless you want to send me all the trimmings Sticking tongue out
