Thanks for everyone's marvelous support.
Question prime...
Yes, I have lots of starts but have not offered them yet.
Basically haven't figured out how to ship them effectively.
Dormant roots during winter seems simplest, seedlings or potted plants could be costly.
Working on this.

Question for educators and anyone who can help.

"You should give me x numbers of seeds because I'm doing x project for x kids for x reasons"

Hey, no problem. Well a bit of snag is that my magic wand is in the shop currently so ...
How do I vet these people? What sort of credentials or chops are familiar to the mentor guild?
Any thoughts?
Ard

People who are asking for free seeds should be ignored. I hate to say that but it's the case that a lot (most?) of those people are scammers looking for free seeds.

You're asking $5 for a packet. Nobody can't afford that.

do not mail anything to anyone until you have received payment. If you feel so inclined you can offer seeds for free to anyone who will pay postage, sometimes members do that. But you should still not ship them until you are paid. Well there are some generous folks here who sometimes send out free plants and even pay the postage Thank You! (you know who you are!)
But no one here should feel obligated to do that. You do not have to buy, sell, trade or give away anything to use this site.
