I sometimes see them for sale at Home Depot and Walmart garden centers so you might ask at your local garden center to see if perhaps they carry them or could order one for you from their supplier. You didn't state where you live and there are restrictions about shipping plants across borders but you might want to post over on the plant and seed trading forum to see if a member has one for trade or postage: http://garden.org/forums/view/...

In Colorado, you'd probably have to look in the indoor/house plants section to find one. Or better yet, look around for a tropical plants nursery with a greenhouse near you.

This Philo is pretty common as a house plant and does get quite large eventually.

I also see them at Home Depot, and just recently at our local farmer's market. Try your local farmers market.

Holy cow, these are growing EVERYWHERE here in Manatee county, FL. They are as common as sea gulls!

Yep, they're a common landscape plant in Florida and California. I have 8 or 9 of them along my shady border under the biggest oak tree. Some of them are 10ft. tall and wide.

Not so common in Colorado so probably a nursery specializing in tropicals is the best bet to find one there. I do hope Marika was looking for a really large indoor plant . . . although they're not terribly fast growing it could get big in a few years.

Right, Elaine...they can get as tall as a house here!!! Probably hard to find in Colorado, though! Marika, what size plant are you looking for?
