Hello all,

We were in an antiques store where we saw this with two decorated chairs that don't have seats. The idea is to place this planter into the seat and it does fit perfectly but they only had one. I love symmetry so I need to find another for the other chair. I am offering 5 acorns to the first person that can help me find something like this. Thank you so much for your help!

I type "vintage wire baskets" on ebay search and a lot came up...you may find something similar that would give to the symmetry you are looking for.

If you cannot match it exactly you may be able to find two other baskets that would fit and use this one free standing because it's a very pretty basket!

I possess tons of MCM goodies and I've identified quite a few patterns by searching storefront sites like Etsy, and Bonanza (and others). I stumble into my finds by changing keywords in the search. In one instance I found chip-n-dip glassware that matched a set of drinking glasses I was going to post to Craigslist at which point I spent money rather than selling.

Another time my mom asked me to find her lone piece of Pickard China pot online. Didn't find a match but found the matching cream and sugar for cheap. I think she was going to consign some items, having the match made a difference...


Wire planter, wire basket, vintage basket, antique planter basket, wire flower box etc., just never use the same keywords twice once you're on a roll.
