Nice plants cb. I hope you snapped some up if they where reasonably priced.
We very seldom have them come into HD here.

It's me Cora! My husband clean up our computer recently. It erased everything including forum sites i bookmark.

I have to re-register on every forum i belong to.

Melissa, yes first time i saw desert rose at grocery store years ago. It came from Costa Farms and also came with clay pots.

We've also been getting those Costa Farm Plants at HD and Wal-Mart for $9.98. The problem is that most were/are not in bloom, so you don't know what you're getting. Now last week when HD decided to reduce the price to $6.98, bloom colors suddenly didn't matter to me. Whistling I'm hoping that it is worth the gamble and that I get some beauties. nodding

I agree that Cora's fluffy white is a beauty. I'd love for one of mine to have blooms like that. @Cora, if you remember your user name and passwords, you should not have to re-register. You can log on to this site anywhere.

Hi guys,
Does anyone know if Costa Farms raise their dr's from seed, or do they buy grafted, bare-root from Asia?

Thanks Hetty! Deborah, i know but it was easier for me to just create a new one. Kadie, Costa Farms been growing and selling dr's for years i imagine they already produce many seeds from their plants to grow many seedlings that they manage to graft those plants they distribute at Lowe'& Home Depot and other places.

Love your avatar, remember seeing it at other forum.

Katie, Costa doe not seem to have very many of the new varieties that the Taiwan folks offer. And I would fall over flat to see that they forewarded other's plants.

lick this link, it's safe, to see their plants/flowers.

Their Crown of Thorns plants are really a bore compared to what's available from overseas. (Oooo, sorry, Costa, but it's true!)

Big Grin I would rather click than "lick" even if it's safe. Hilarious! Thank You!

Thank You! Yes, I wrote a short narrative about the adenium pictured, and my Chihuahua, BabyK is there as reference point. And I remember your nice comment to me.

I recognize your new avatar picture here, posted in the same forum.

The top picture, is that a coral color? Very nice--I'm partial to corals. This adenium opens a brilliant coral then fades to pink.

Yes Cadie, I love the coral pink too.

Hope you find something to take home Carol Smiling

On sad note, I planted the adenium seeds from my seed pod and they are probably not viable because I did not see any seedling. Oh well, on one hand I'm sad but at the same time relieved Smiling I really don't need any baby seedlings to take care of.
