besides all of them...hahaha do you have a favourite.........
I am going to sound rather odd in the fact that I think I will stay with the simplicity of the L. Regale........very elegant and yet simple and strong scent.......
I am also a casa blanca fan too..........

and you??

Either 'Anastasia' or 'Lankon' right now. Only talking of lilies I've grown.

Not so much one particular lily, but a genre... out to down facing lilies. I'm not a big fan of up facing lilies though I have a few.

Since a few of us here also like to do pollen-daubing and seed growing we are more likely to have a variety of lilies to work with.

wow all these that have posted are beautiful

Lankon is beautiful......those are one that I have never owned or seen in bloom......might invest in a few of them next year...... not sure how they will like zone 5 though...

this way can see what everyone loves and maybe come up with new ones to plant in the garden here in the future...........

down facing lilies are my favourite as well

Joe, just a quick question about Lankon, is it the last lily to emerge in the Spring for you? I planted some along with Kushi Maya last Fall and still no signs of them coming up. Most of the other lilies have already emerged. Should I be worried? By the way we woke up to a dusting of snow today --unbelievable!

I might be concerned because for me Lankon is one of the first up. That said, any lily with some Easter Lily in its genetics seems to come up earlier rather than later. I will say to resist temptation to poking around. I have broken or damaged the top of a stem by being impatient and digging or poking around and find that sometimes it's just a little behind. If it's gone or dead, it's already gone.

Kushi Maya always comes up later for me.

Yow! I didn't mean that late! Mid July is even late for my Asian Jack-in-thePulpits.

The characteristic I like best is the graduated color on the back of the petals.

Every single one is my favorite as they each bloom. But I like down-facing yellow small lilies on dainty pediciles that move in the wind and are fragrant. One such showed up in my garden that I did not plant.

It is not a martagon as the stem is 6 foot tall. It showed up nearest to Condo 'd ore and a tall yellow asiatic...but I have so many varieties that it could be a number of parents. A hummingbird or butterfly were the likely cupid. I can't locate a picture that I took with my camera last summer.

going to be lots of hanky panky going on in my lily beds I think too. I have quite a few Regale and Regale Album in there and many other trumpets.........I am not worried about the Regales or the Albums but can see lots of other trumpets getting pollinated by the species in the garden.......
as far as plants showing up that you did not plant..........I am making sure to get off all the seed pods from the Regales and Albums a the end of the season or I might have Regales and Albums growing in all my neighbour flower beds..... the Regale can produce flowers very fast from seed and it could be interesting to see how It goes.......

Just want to remind everyone that Pink Perfection is a seedling strain, not a clone. Color can range from light to dark pink.
